What a year it has been! Like every year there are highs and lows, but this year is really one I will remember. I was brought on as a guest on the Matt Edmondson show for 4 shows, which was then 6, then being asked to come back as a permanent presenter for the “Matt and Mollie” show. I really couldn’t put into words back then how much it meant to me to be asked to join the best radio station in the world, and the one I’d grown up listening to… And even today almost a year on from my first guest show with Matt, i struggle to find the words to say how unbelievably happy and grateful I am to have joined the most wonderful family you could imagine. You grow up listening to presenters on air, and really hope that they’re the exact same person in the flesh, and I have to say i have been blown away by the amount of support and encouragement I’ve had from all of Radio 1. From @matthewedmondson welcoming me into his show and supporting me every step along the way, absolutely everyone has been the most wonderful family you could wish to join. Thank you so much @ahjones and Ben Cooper for asking me to come on board, it has been one of the most exciting journeys I’ve had to date, and to all the production staff especially @tewhiter @willwilkin @hiyathisistom and @ichaloner. Here are some of my highlights of the year, from Biggest Weekend, to Reading Festival, Ibiza, presenting the Teen Awards, winning silver at the Aria’s for best new presenter, and above all of that just having so many laughs with my bud @matthewedmondson. Thank you @bbcradio1 and all the incredible listeners for making me a very happy girl this year, and i wish you all lots of happiness and fun in 2019 ????????
