Shah Rukh Khan joins AR Rahman as they sing ARRived anthem

They worked together in Dil Se… (1997) and Swades: We The People (2004). Now Shah Rukh Khan and AR Rahman are teaming up once again. Khan made an appearance alongside Rahman on his new anthem, ARRived.

The song, a promotional composition for the first YouTube original reality show, ARRived, was launched on 5 November, and features singers Shaan, Vidya Vox, and Clinton Cerejo alongside the two stars.

The anthem has been composed by Cerejo and written by Siddhant Kaushal.

Describing the struggle and inspirational rise of a singer, the anthem has Shah Rukh Khan talking about ‘starting from zero. Incidentally, Khan’s upcoming film is Aanand L Rai’s Zero (2018).

The show marks the first original production from YouTube targeting India. The digital giant is entering a market that has already seen Netflix and Amazon Prime Video establish themselves with curated content for Indian audiences.

Earlier this year, Amazon Prime had tried a similar musical competition titled The Remix while Badshah, Raftaar and Kailash Kher were part of Zee5’s original reality series, The Lockdown.
