First-time director Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti’s Marathi movie Naal has been earning well at the box office. Starring the child actor Shrinivas Pokale, along with Nagraj Popatrao Manjule and Devika Daftardar, the film has received thumbs up from critics and audiences alike.

As per our trade experts, Naal earned Rs14.5 crore in the first week. The film also had a good second weekend as it made an additional Rs4.75 crore in the period. This takes its total to a handsome Rs19.25 crore so far.
Produced by Zee Studios and Manjule, Naal has become the second film, after Sairat (2016), to reach such a number in the first 10 days.

Hinting at the recent successes of Marathi films like Aani… Dr Kashinath Ghanekar, Manjule said, “I am overwhelmed with the response by the audience. It is almost as if there is a renaissance across the Marathi cinema; success of this film is definably a triumph of the art.”
