A no-nonsense police officer, a mysterious high-profile murder, and conflicted personal lives collide in Eros Now Quickie’s next project, The Investigation.
The short series is a part of Eros International’s new digital wave and will be premiered on the channel’s OTT platform on 6 January 2019.
The trailer to the nine-episode short-form series captures the intrigue and mystery which revolves around an ‘accidental’ murder that keeps unravelling into a personal space.
Hiten Tejwani plays ACP Vishal Gaikwad, given the task of finding the truth. As he dives into the investigation, he soon finds threads that lead into his own personal life, namely his estranged wife.
Speaking about the series, Tejwani said, “I am glad to make my digital debut with The Investigation. The show exposes a murder mystery and revolves around my role as an ACP. The several twists and turns in the plot interested me to be part of the crime thriller and it was a different and enjoyable experience shooting for this short-format content. I am sure audiences will be glued to the show and enjoy watching it as much as we did filming it.”
