Luka Chuppi review: Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon hold their own in a fairly entertaining comedy

The film, starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon, however, is already in the safe zone because of its moderate cost of production. According to trade sources, the film is made at a budget of around Rs25 crore and was released on 2,500 screens.

The film is expected to finish the first week at Rs50 crore. It looks like Aaryan is set to deliver another hit after last year’s surprise blockbuster Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Abhishek Chaubey’s Sonchiriya took a further fall on Monday. Starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar, the film collected only Rs80 lakh, which is Rs20 lakh less than its opening day collection [Rs1 crore].
