Kananur Lokesh Rahul popularly known as KL Rahul is an Indian Cricketer who plays for Karnataka domestic cricket and is the captain of IPL team Punjab Kings. He is a wicket keeper and plays right handedly. KL Rahul made his International debut in the year 2014 and scored a maiden test century in his test match.

KL Rahul was born to Rajeshwari and KN Lokesh on 18th April in Bangalore, Karnataka. His father was a professor and dean at NITK (National Institute of Technology Karnataka) in Mangalore. His mother Rajeshwari is also a professor at Mangalore University. KL Rahul was born to a middle class family and always wanted to have a career in sports. KL Rahul started his rigorous practice for cricket and started playing under 14 and under 16 for Karnataka team.
