Asad Azharuddin or Asaduddin is a cricketer and son of a politician and the former captain of Indian Cricket Team, Mohammad Azharuddin.

Asad Azharuddin was born on 18 May 1990 (Age: 28 years, as in 2018) in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. He has received his education from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India.

Asad was born to the former captain of Indian Cricket Team, Mohammad Azharuddin and Naureen. His brother, Mohammad Ayazuddin died in a road accident at the age of 19.

Career
Asad is a cricketer. In 2009, he started playing for Hyderabad Colts XI. In 2014, he shifted to Uttar Pradesh but not selected to playing eleven. On 6 December 2018, he made his first-class debut for Goa in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy.

Asad has been in a relationship with Anam Mirza, the sister of Indian Tennis star, Sania Mirza. However, Anam had filed for divorce with her Hyderabad-based businessman and husband Akbar Rasheed whom she got married with on 18 November 2016. Reportedly, Asad and Anam are set to tie a knot soon.
