Marathi film actor Prathamesh Parab was last seen in Ziprya (2018) earlier this year. He was also recently seen in two Hindi films — Drishyam (2015) and Khajoor Pe Atke (2018). Parab will next be seen in another Hindi film titled Anya, directed by Simmy.
The film also has few other renown artistes like Atul Kulkarni, Bhushan Pradhan, Tejashri Pradhan and Raima Sen.
Going by the teaser, the film tells the story of two documentary filmmakers [Pradhan and Sen] who set out to make a film on drug mafia. Parab plays a street urchin who is a part of the murky underworld but offers to help the filmmakers.
Kulkarni, who plays the writer of the documentary, is also a part of team. He was recently seen in Raees (2017) and The Ghazi Attack (2017) and was appreciated for his performances in both films. He will be seen essaying the character of Tatya Tope in next year’s Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi, which stars Kangana Ranaut as the queen.
Anya will hit the screens in May 2019.
