Everything is upside down in Bejoy Nambiar’s dark, dysfunctional anthology

The four-film anthology Flip, directed by Bejoy Nambiar, captures its messed up dysfunctional lives in a dark trailer. The film, featuring Jim Sarbh, Ranvir Shorey, Arjun Mathur, Naman Shaw, Sandeepa Dhar and Shweta Basu Prasad will premiere on Eros Now on 23 March.

The trailer begins with a scene right out of Donnie Darko (2001), with a strange rabbit mask-wearing stranger standing in the rain. The trailer brings together the four stories — Happy Birthday, Bully, Massage and The Hunt.

It’s liberating: Bejoy Nambiar on his digital debut Flip

From a woman running away from armed men in military fatigues to a crazed Ranvir Shorey venting his anger, the visuals correspond to the theme of the anthology where one moment flips the lives of these individuals upside down. The lack of any dialogue in the minute-long trailer adds to the intrigue and makes the film one to watch out for.
