Gully Boy makes Rs94 crore nett in its first week 

After an impressive extended weekend, Gully Boy has slowed down in the week. It collected Rs22.50 crore nett in the three days of the week. Gully Boy has picked up Rs94 crore nett in its domestic business so far, as reported by Boxofficeindia.com.

The musical, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, enjoyed a good extended opening weekend, collecting Rs71.5 crore nett.  

Gully Boy is directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Excel Entertainment.

Made at an estimated budget of Rs75 crore, Gully Boy was released on more than 4,000 screens in India. As per sources, Excel Entertainment has sold the combined satellite, digital and music rights for Rs60 crore to Zee.

This will be Singh’s third successive film to cross Rs100 crore nett at the box office. Singh has enjoyed a great last 13 months with films like Padmaavat (2018) and Simmba (2018) crossing Rs200 crore nett in domestic office.

Gully Boy is loosely based on the life of rappers DIVINE and Naezy.
