Priyaank K Sharma or Priyank Pradeep Sharma, known professionally as Priyank Sharma, was born on 5 February 1990 (age 29 years; as in 2019) in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

He was born into a family of actors and being raised in a filmy atmosphere, he was always fascinated by acting. His family always backed his interest in acting and had encouraged him to join theatre in school. As a kid, he used to enjoy dancing at birthday parties. He was even offered a few roles when he was around 14 years old, but due to some reasons, he didn’t work on those projects.
He did his graduation in B. A. English (Hons.). As he always wanted to become an actor, he joined The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York and also learnt acting in London. Moreover, he has also attended the acting workshops at Ekjute, under the guidance of Nadira Babbar.
He started his career in Bollywood as an assistant to Rajkumar Santoshi in the film Phata Poster Nikla Hero (2013), starring Shahid Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz.
