After featuring mostly in action films, actor Tiger Shroff will be seen in the campus romantic drama Student Of The Year 2. The film was initially slated to be released on 30 November, but will now be out in May 2019.
Given his skills with action, we often lose sight of the fact that Shroff is an efficient dancer too. The brawny actor gave a memorable reminder of his dancing skills when he posted a delicious video of him dancing to ‘Ishq Wala Love’ song from the first film.
“Love this movie #soty and @punitdmalhotra sir love you (#soty)2 #ishqwalalove #choreobypiyush,” tweeted Shroff.
Shroff’s performance deserves adjectives like mindblowing, outstanding and mesmerizing.
Much of the credit has to go to choreographer Piyush Bhagat. Bhagat thanked Shroff in a Facebook post.
“I personally never thought that you could dance to slow numbers @tigerjackieshroff I’m so happy that you still trying to step out of your comfort zone. And this routine you killed it bhai, more stuff comin,” posted Bhagat.
Shroff dancing to ‘Ishq Wala Love’ song from the first film, naturally leads to speculation as to whether we will get to see a new version of the song in the second film? Efforts to contact Shroff and music composers Vishal-Shekhar didn’t yield any response.
Johar directed the first film, but he has roped in Punit Malhotra for the second film. Apart from Shroff, the film marks the debut of Tara Sutaria and Chunky Pandey’s daughter Ananya Pandey.
The film had already got a huge boost when American actor-singer Will Smith visited the sets. Smith is also said to have done a song for the film.
