Filmmaker Imtiaz Ali’s next project, featuring the hot new pair of Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan, along with Randeep Hooda has picked up a Valentine’s Day release for next year. The film will release on 14 February 2020.
The cast has already begun work on the project as lead actor Aaryan revealed on Twitter, which a photo clicked by the writer-director.
This will be the first time both Khan and Aaryan are working with Ali, Hooda has previously worked with the filmmaker on Highway (2014). Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan has collaborated on two projects Love Aaj Kal (2009) and Cocktail (2012). The film was rumoured to be a sequel to Love Aaj Kal, although no official confirmation has been released by the makers.
The untitled film will be co-produced by Jio Studios, Maddock Films, Imtiaz Ali and Reliance Entertainment’s Window Seat Films.
