Career
She started her career as a child artiste in 2010 with the TV show, “Dill Mill Gayye (2007-2010),” which aired in Star One channel.
She gained popularity after doing the role of ‘young Phulwa” in TV serial “Phulwa” that aired in Colors TV from 2011 to 2012. She made her debut as an actress with the TV show “Tu Aashiqui (2017-2018).”
She made her film debut with the movie, “Aagaah–The Warning” in 2011.
Controversy
In 2018, during the shooting of the TV show, “Tu Aashiqui (2017-2018),” which aired on Colors TV, Jannat was asked to do some intimate scenes with the lead actor of the show. Jannat disagreed to it saying that she wasn’t comfortable in doing intimate scenes and it wasn’t suitable for her age. Her parents, too supported her in it. However, the matter got out of hands when the show producers started auditioning for Jannat’s replacement on the show. The issue was finally settled after the makers of the show agreed with the actress to not to include intimate scenes above limits.
